Cologne, Germany – After two years of intensive development, Cologne-based HealthTech startup Performula is officially making its public debut — backed by a strong lineup of investors. In its latest angel funding round, prominent figures including eSports pioneer Ralf Reichert, angel investor Sebastian Kroth, and professional footballer and business angel Mario Götze joined the cap table. Götze, who has been a dedicated user of the product for two years, jumped at the opportunity to invest. Also coming on board as an exceptionally early institutional partner is Berlin Food Week Ventures, impressed by Performula’s potential in an underserved niche of the supplement market.
From marketing hype to medical precision
“The industry needs a new standard – one built not on marketing promises or influencer endorsements, but on lab data, evidence-based science, and true experts” says co-founder Sebastian Wirtz.
Performula positions itself as a medical partner in the supplement space, delivering individually formulated micronutrient blends developed by physicians and nutrition experts. Each formula is based on comprehensive blood and biomarker analyses, scientifically validated, AI-powered, and dynamically adaptable. The focus: preventive health, enhanced performance, and targeted support for key life stages such as pregnancy, menopause, and healthy aging.
